The Freelander Club was originally formed in November 2000 and has been increasing it’s
membership steadily.
The Club is ran by an elected national Committee and on a local
basis we have 'Local Area Representatives' or LAR's as they are more
commonly known. These are volunteer or elected members who organise
local area meetings and events as well as participating in larger
shows in their respective areas.
Every Committee member, Officer, and LAR is a Member of the Freelander Club.
What do we get up to?
The Freelander Club takes part in, and organises, events and functions throughout the year.
Our attendance at many of the major 4x4 shows within the UK gives our Members the
opportunity to visit the club stand and perhaps to display their vehicles.
It is also a great place to meet other members from around the country (and indeed from
around the world), compare vehicles whether standard or modified,
and generally to enjoy their Club Membership in good company.
Our Local Area Representatives who organise events on a more localised basis. These can include
social meetings, green lane days or private site days.
On a national level we can also organise driver training at tried and tested sites.
Whether your interests may lie in brushing up your off road skills or simply for the discounts
the Club is helping to arrange for you, the Freelander Club is where to be!
Please browse our site using the menu above. Enjoy your visit and if you wish to
join the club please download the membership form and send it off. Happy
Freelandering!
