Welcome
Welcome to the pages for the North West Region of the Freelander Club.
The Freelander Club was originally formed in 2000 and has been increasing national membership steadily.
We have a wide and lively ongoing programme of events for this area to keep you entertained and highly stimulated!
We usually meet at 8:00pm on the third Tuesday of every month at the Tavern Fayre, Hunger Hill, Bolton, BL3 4RH - but please check as we may be out and about!
We meet for an informal chat and a bit of gossip - and we often talk about Freelanders! Call down and meet us at these very popular evenings.
We are an active group in the North West (currently incorporating Lancashire, Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside and the Lake District!)
with many organised days, evenings and week-ends including road drives (shiny days), off-road days and week-ends,
green lane runs (some with overnight camping) and promotional events. We often meet up with our neighbourhood groups in the North East and Yorkshire for combined events.
We attend ALL the major Land Rover shows through the year, plus a number of county shows too.
We organise a number of events ourselves - many local social meetings, outings, 4x4 experience events plus dealership visits and launches.
We publish an informative and entertaining magazine and have just revamped our web site, which includes the latest news and dates, a gallery and a member forum.
A local mini web site carries up-to-date details of our forthcoming activities
Oh, and did we mention the discounts? We are very proud to be supported by a number of official Land Rover dealerships and specialists who offer discounts on servicing,
parts and accessories.
Check out the gallery sections for an insight into what we get up to!
